Psalm 139:7-12; Romans 8:31
7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, [a] you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,"
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
He'll be there. No matter what happens to us, be it something we had no control over or something we brought upon ourselves, He'll be there. You lose your job, He'll be there. You get a bad report from the doctor, He'll be there. You plunge into depression and think you'll never be yourself again, He'll be there. Your child is hurt, He'll be there. No one understands you, He'll be there. You disappoint Him, He's still there. You become a failure by all societal standards, He'll be there. You try to run away from Him, He won't leave you. You embarass yourself publicly, He's there.
Romans 8:31
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
